How video visits work in New York

You sign up online in about two minutes, and I get back to you within one business day with a scheduling link. Visits happen over secure video from your phone or computer. The first evaluation takes about an hour; follow-ups take about 30 minutes.

For each visit you must be physically located in New York or another state where I’m licensed. Prescriptions go electronically to the pharmacy you choose. I don’t prescribe controlled substances by telehealth, including stimulants, benzodiazepines, controlled sleep medications such as zolpidem, and buprenorphine.

Insurance and fees

I’m in network with several commercial plans through Alma, including Aetna, Cigna, UnitedHealthcare / Optum, Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield. Participating plans vary by state; Alma checks your coverage and tells you your cost before you’re seen. Self-pay is $525 for the first evaluation and $260 for a follow-up. See fees and insurance.
